Daisy was born in 1938 at Umbungurru Creek, as a member of the Anmatyerre language group. She married Tim Leura Tjapaltjarri and they live in Papunya. Daisy's husband, one of the pioneers and one of the most famous artists of 'the dot-art paint', teached her painting. She's one of the first female artists of the ' Papunya Tula Artists'.
Her first paintings were made, together with her husband. |
